Full Circle is written in the Dorian mode which gives the music a different sound from the normal major or minor pieces. While you will notice some counterpoint, the music is not difficult to prepare and it will actually sound more difficult that it is. The title comes from the form of the music and you can take the opportunity to talk to students about composition form. |
