Unlike other staples of the brand such as the Submariner or the President, the Cellini constantly seems to be rewriting itself from page one. Never content to simply be another round case on a metal chain strap, each new model’s look is fundamentally different from the last, offering a wide variety of styles that range from conservative to cutting edge. This particular model has a case consisting of vertical 18-karat yellow gold bars; a design choice that seems to say that if time absolutely must be a cage, then it may as well be a gilded one.
