The battery backup UPS (uninterruptible power supply) and power conditioner for the Illumina HiSeq 2000 DNA sequencer provides automatic seamless emergency backup power to the instrument. Plug the battery backup UPS into an available wall socket, then plug the Illumina HiSeq 2000 into one of the available receptacles on the back of the battery backup UPS, turn it on, and forget about it.
If utility power is lost while the Illumina HiSeq 2000 is on and connected to the battery backup UPS, the instrument will continue to operate as if power was never lost until either power is restored or battery power is depleted (whichever occurs first). The built in power conditioning function ensures that voltage sags or surges will not damage the power supply of the attached instrument.

Great Mouse
I normally use the Logitech M325c. I've gone through dozens over the years. It works very well, but they seem to wear out fast; the wheel scroll is what fails. I decided to give the Amazon Basics a try. So far, it looks, feels, and functions the same as the Ltech; it doesn't have the fun colors, but if it holds up longer than a year, it's a fair tradeoff. I will revise this review if things change in the future, but as of now, I would recommend the Amazon Basics and will replace the other Ltech's when the time comes.

Works great!

The mouse gave me a little trouble when it was in the back port of my pc tower, but worked perfect when i plugged it into one at the front. The light was flickering for "low power" despite new batteries being in it, but worked great after playing with it for a few minutes. The mouse is really easy to work with and is silent, which is nice when you're in an atmosphere with other people. I found it fit well in my hand and didn't cause any discomfort. i believe it to be reasonably priced for the design.

Great little mouse for a low price

For about $10 this was a great little mouse! The buttons are super quiet and the shape seems comfortable. I work from home and I bought this as a last min I need it tomorrow kind of deal. I guess I should have looked into the description more as this is a tiny little mouse. I've gotten more used to it as the day goes on, but I am definitely ordering something bigger. This will make a fine little back up mouse though.
