To kick off 2023 in fine style, Mint Condition welcomes the long awaited return of OG tech-house legends Terry Francis & Nathan Coles AKA The Delinquents. 'Breaking The Law', originally released in 1998 on the seminal Wiggle imprint, typifies that warm, bumpin' analog tech-house sound that's become so highly sought after in recent years. EP opener 'Break & Enter' brings the break-beat heat, seismic bass drops lead into a heavy rollin' b-line. Synth washes and eerie chords creep into the fray, whilst the potent percussion keeps the dancefloor energy to the fore. Over on the flip, the curiously titled T.D.A. (To Danca Alot) is more subtle in it's approach. Deftly programmed breaks, deliver the punch, bump and the funk, there's low slung bass aplenty leading into an ever so effective rugged 4 to the floor beat. Lastly G.B.H. (Groovy Bouncy House) is exactly that. Trippy dub FX and subaquatic bass characterize this tough swinging tech-house groover before soaring chords lift the track to the next level.
