Tasting Notes

Appearance

This distinguished Bas-Armagnac presents a rich amber colour with warm golden highlights and brilliant clarity, displaying the exceptional quality characteristic of over thirty-five years of patient ageing in oak barrels at the Delord family distillery in Lannepax, the ancestral home of one of Armagnac’s most celebrated and visionary producers.

Aroma

The nose is very aromatic and deeply rewarding, with hints of dried fruit — almond and hazelnut — alongside vanilla, cinnamon and oak creating a sophisticated and richly layered aromatic profile. The bouquet reflects more than three decades of ageing in Delord’s treasured oak barrels, with each element in perfect harmony — a testament to the extraordinary patience and expertise of the Delord family and their prized Sier Armagnac alambics that produce less than 30 litres of eau-de-vie per hour.

Palate

Soft tannins and aromas of dried fruits and vanilla pleasantly line the palate in exceptional balance. The finish is long with evolved wood notes — complex, warming and deeply satisfying. The hallmark Delord style — very rounded, soft and easy to drink — is evident throughout, with the 1990 vintage showcasing the extraordinary depth and refinement that only decades of careful oak maturation can achieve.

Pairs With

This exceptional Bas-Armagnac is a natural companion to dark chocolate, almond tart, hazelnut praline, dried figs, aged cheeses, or enjoyed as a contemplative digestif after a special meal, making it the ultimate gift for those born in 1990 and a treasured addition to any serious spirits collection.

Reliable heat tape that holds firm and releases clean
Color: Blue-2 Roll
The MS WGO High Temperature Tape is an excellent product for sublimation printing and heat transfer work. The blue color makes it easy to distinguish from other tapes in the workshop. At 10mm wide and 33 meters long, each roll provides generous coverage, and getting 2 rolls in a pack makes it a great value. The adhesive holds firmly during heat press operations but releases cleanly without leaving any residue — exactly what you need for sublimation transfers. The heat resistance is genuine; I've used these at typical heat press temperatures (350-400°F) and the tape performs flawlessly without melting, bubbling, or breaking down. The clean release is a major benefit over cheaper alternatives that leave sticky residue and ruin transfers. The narrow 10mm width is ideal for securing the edges of transfers precisely. I've gone through multiple rolls for my sublimation projects and repurchased several times. A reliable, professional-quality tape that does exactly what it promises.

very thin. very large amount. two rolls last me years maybe.
Color: A-Yellow-2 Roll
fast shipping. film tape was more than i though. very thin. strong. great adhesion but no residue. i am us8ng as anti conductivity barrier on switch c9nnection tabs where solder and wire is bare. to resist possible short circuits or touching by hands... basically wrapping parts to keep safe and i did heat lightly and it seemed to set it up and kick like ub 2poxy woupd. quick and now it 8snt sticky or able to remove easy. basically it is awesome and necessary for any electronics lab and if you are DIY or experienced then just buy it because you need it even if you never heard of it.

As expected, great value for $
Color: A-Yellow-2 Roll
This is exactly as described and what I needed to prevent heat creep from my hot end to the thermistor on my 3D printer. I no longer am replacing thermistors regularly with proper protection in place. There is a lot of tape that comes with the order. I could have paid attention and ordered something a little wider, but this works well enough for my needs.

Makes patching wiring a breeze
I use this for repair job on an antique light fixture in my Victorian home. Work like a charm. I’ve got plenty left over and I have a feeling I’ll be using it in the near future.
