Does this cable come with a CD or USB drive containing the software?
No. Motorola no longer distributes physical copies of their programming software. This purchase is strictly for the physical PMKN4128A cable. You will need to acquire the digital download of the Motorola CPS software separately to manage your radios.
Will this work with my Mac computer?
No. The Motorola Customer Programming Software (CPS) required to interface with this cable is exclusively compatible with Windows operating systems.
Is this the same cable used to charge the radio?
While some radios (like the SL300) can charge via their Micro-USB port, this specific PMKN4128A cable is engineered strictly for data transfer and programming.
