Accu-Tell hCG Pregnancy Test
The quick and easy to perform hCG test is a pregnancy test that is performed with a urine sample. The test provides reliable test results within five minutes.

Test Principle
The pregnancy test is based on the detection of hCG in the urine. Since the hormone hCG (human chorionic gonadotropin) is formed very early after the implantation of the fertilised egg, hCG is an early detectable and reliable marker for the presence of a pregnancy. This hCG test takes advantage of this fact.
Antibodies against hCG are already applied to the membrane of the test strip, which react with the hCG in the urine when a pregnancy is present. The bound antigen-antibody complexes migrate to the test line and stain it red. Since the antibodies react selectively with hCG, this hCG test does not show any cross-reactions with LH, FSH and TSH.
With this hCG pregnancy test, you can detect a pregnancy early (usually from the first day after the missed period) and reliably.
Test Procedure
- Take urine sample (ideally the first in the morning)
- Drop some urine onto the test area using a disposable pipette
- Let the hCG pregnancy test sit for a maximum of 5 minutes
- Read the result on the test strip
Depending on the concentration of hCG in the urine, a positive "pregnant" result may be present after a few seconds. However, to obtain accurate results for urine with low concentrations of hCG, the user should wait a full 5 minutes for the reaction to take place.
