The MXR Split + Tap is a multifunctional utility pedal designed to simplify routing and timing control within compact pedalboard setups. Housed in a durable enclosure, this unit integrates a passive TRS signal splitter and a tap tempo footswitch into a single streamlined solution.
The passive TRS splitter handles signal distribution or merging without requiring power, offering a TRS input and discrete Left and Right outputs. Use it to route a stereo signal into two mono paths for dual amp setups or consolidate two mono signals into one TRS output for flexible integration with effects processors and recording gear.
In addition to routing, the Split + Tap features a responsive momentary footswitch for tap tempo control, making it ideal for syncing compatible delay, modulation, or time-based effects. Its low-latency performance and straightforward design ensure precision timing during live performance or studio use.
