This whole experience starts familiarly with a mahogany single-cutaway body fitted with a beautiful AA figured carved maple top. Matching the warmth of mahogany with the brightness of maple, this Les Paul Standard delivers an excellent sonic springboard off which the rest of the experience can leap. The body is wrapped in a smooth, satin nitrocellulose lacquer finish that is silky to the touch for a comfortable connection. Single-ply cream binding lines this guitar's top and fingerboard for some accentuation of its burst finish.

The essential form of this classic Gibson continues with a mahogany neck shaped in a 60s-style SlimTaper profile. For players seeking a time-tested profile, this vintage-style neck feels streamlined and ready to play. The neck is capped with a rosewood fingerboard adorned with twenty-two articulate frets. When it comes to awesome humbucking tonality, this Les Paul Standard is a tonal treat. This model is outfitted with a pair of Gibson 60s Burstbucker pickups that summon a timeless sound. Meeting their namesake with great kick and tonal warmth, these Burstbuckers play boldly and clearly to get inspired and creative with. Audio taper potentiometers and Orange Drop capacitors come hand-wired to this pickup configuration to ensure high fidelity when rolling through this Les Paul's spectrum of sounds. Gold Top Hat knobs appear with silver reflectors and dial pointers to add that extra element of Les Paul style.

A couple of quality hardware specifications land to tie this Les Paul's whole experience together. An ABR-1 Tune-O-Matic bridge grounds strings at the base of the scale with an aluminum Stop Bar tailpiece. This balance is mirrored at the headstock with a Graph Tech nut and six Grover Rotomatic tuning machines with Kidney buttons.
