In addition to stainless steel coilover struts, and corrosion-resistant components built for long term durability, KW V2 Comfort coilovers utilize TVR-A (Twin Valve Rebound - Adjustable) technology -o allow Adjustment -f the rebound damping characteristics with 16 clicks so you can fine tune the ride comfort to your satisfaction. As with all KW coilovers our engineers develop vehicle specific damper settings that undergo comprehensive testing on the vehicles and in our KW 7-post Driving Dynamic Test Center. With a KW V2 Comfort coilover kit the driving experience is tailored for absolute comfort. With the rebound adjustability you have direct influence on the handling and comfort of the car. With 16 precise clicks you can adjust the KW dampers (more firm or more comfortable) without affecting the compression damping fine-tuned by our engineers. The two-stage, patented TVR-A (Twin Valve Rebound - Adjustable) technology -nables a small volume of oil flow through an adjustable, conically shaped, low-speed bypass during low damper speeds, while at high damper speeds, the main rebound stage valve opens allowing a larger volume of oil to flow. This provides a big improvement in terms of ride comfort without influencing the high-speed range. There are 16 precise clicks available for individual settings, so you can choose between more comfort or more body control. This little invention is outstanding! It holds phones of multiple sizes very securely in place without any bonding or sticky attachments that could damage your vehicle. Mobility is simple as it's easy to add and remove to any vehicle with air condition vents. Best of all, various size devices can be easily held in place with a quick squeeze of the side mounts and just as easily removable with a single press of a release button on the back side. The mount is also very strong and holds up to various temperatures. For example, in the summer it can become very hot in an enclosed vehicle and this mount holds up when other mounts tend to fail from over exposure to heat. The failure causes the joints or fittings to loosen, which will cause your device to slip from an intended position. Well, that is not a problem with this one. It has stood the test of time as I have used this mount for over a year in extreme environments. In the end, it appears that my family has come to like this product too. Ahem, my wife just took mine! So, I have returned to purchase another one for myself and two more for my daughters. Then I don't have to worry about my daughters taking mine either. Yes, I'm finally thinking ahead, so maybe you should think ahead and get additional copies for your family members. Either way, try one and you'll likely be back for more. It makes a great gift. I highly suggest this product to everyone who needs a mobile device mount for their vehicle.

Well made, but not a good fit for Volvo XC40
One issue with this style of holder, is that the swing arm and holder add a fair amount of weight and extends that weight away from the vent, applying quite a bit more leverage on the vent. It may not be as much of an issue on horizontal vents, but the vertical vents on an XC40 will want to swing side-to-side with all that weight. As for the build of this particular holder, my only real gripe is the adjustment for the swing arm - after tightening the knob, there will still be some play in the arm...you have to jiggle it while tightening it down to fully secure it. The position of the release button allows one-handed removal of the phone, but really only works by pinching with your thumb on the screen. The clip for the vent accommodates relatively wide fins and the tabs can be rotated to help with stability or removed to provide more clearance (though rubberized tabs would be much more helpful).
