Campagnolo Nuovo/Super Record wheel skewers (or hub spindles if you prefer), hailing from Italy and in production from the 1970s to the 1980s. The design is of the ’post-CPSC’ era produced from around 1978 onwards. Made from steel and weighing in at 178 grams. A fine choice for keeping your vintage bike authentic, but also great for any other compatible bike.

If you're taking part in L'Eroica or any other vintage event, these are fully compliant - so rest assured, the pre-1987 police won't lock you up for having the wrong skewers!

The skewers have been cleaned, checked by one of our mechanics and graded as very good condition, but do take a good look at the detailed photos so you can see the cosmetic condition before you buy.

Skewer type - quick release skewers allow you to remove the wheel without any tools, whereas allen key and security skewers require a tool to allow the wheel to be removed.

*Spacing - this should be within a few milimetres of your frame & fork's outer dropout spacing (measured from the outside where the skewers clamp down). The measurement provided was taken with the exiting hole of the end nut flush with the end of the skewer. There will be some wiggle room to allow a narrower or wider dropout spacing to fit, we've provided the threaded section and end nut measurements to give you an indication of how much.

Threaded section - the amount of thread on the skewers for the end nut to be threaded onto.

End nut length - the total length of the nut from end to end.

The Kind of Cream That Makes Your Skin Look Smoother, More Refined, and Just… Better

At 52, post-menopausal, with dry, increasingly sensitive skin, I’ve become very selective about creams that promise pore refinement, firming, or smoothing. Those claims can go wrong quickly. A lot of products aimed at “pores” are too drying for mature skin, and a lot of “firming” creams end up feeling heavy, silicone-heavy, or overly cosmetic. This cream surprised me because it manages to feel supportive and refining without pushing the skin too hard. That balance is exactly why it works so well for me. First, it’s important to set expectations correctly. This is not a miracle product, and it’s not going to literally shrink pores or dramatically transform the structure of your skin overnight. What it does do — and does very well — is improve the surface quality of the skin. My skin looks smoother, more hydrated, more even, and more refined when I use it consistently. And at this stage, that kind of steady improvement matters far more than dramatic claims. The texture is one of its strongest points. It has a smooth, elegant cream texture that feels substantial enough to moisturize properly, but it never tips into heavy or greasy. It spreads easily, absorbs well, and leaves the skin looking soft and supported rather than coated. For dry, mature skin, that is not always easy to find. I want comfort, but I do not want a cream that just sits on top of my face and makes everything feel overloaded. What I notice most with this cream is how it helps my skin look more polished and refined. The skin feels softer to the touch, looks smoother through areas where texture can become more obvious, and has that hydrated, slightly firmer look that makes the whole complexion seem healthier. The effect is subtle, but very real. It’s less about “wow” overnight change and more about waking up and noticing that your skin just looks better behaved.
