Explore the captivating world of textile art with 'Woven Histories', a meticulously crafted volume that intricately weaves the narratives of modernist abstraction and twentieth-century textiles. Richly illustrated and elegantly curated by Lynne Cooke, this book serves as a vital resource for art enthusiasts and historians alike. Spanning more than fifty creators, 'Woven Histories' highlights the pivotal role of weaving in the evolution of abstract art, showcasing how textiles transcend traditional boundaries between fine arts and applied arts.Beginning in the early twentieth century, this collection roots the abstract practices of influential figures like Sophie Taeuber-Arp in the rich tradition of applied arts. It draws attention to pioneering artists such as Anni Albers, Sonia Delaunay, and their contemporary counterparts like Jeffrey Gibson and Liz Collins, revealing how fabric was used as a medium for social change and artistic expression.
Through comprehensive essays authored by eminent art historians and intimate reflections from modern artists, 'Woven Histories' delivers an authoritative perspective on the confluence of textile innovation and artistic abstraction. This essential volume not only charts the historical journey of textiles but also invites readers to engage with critical societal themes that resonate in today’s art world. Perfect for collectors and scholars, 'Woven Histories' is a must-have addition to any art library that seeks to explore the profound impact of textiles on modern art.

Improved Sleep
Color: Dark Grey & White, Size: Adjustable 9&12 Inch + 1 Head Pillow
I got this to help with my sleep since I can't lay flat. It works great. My back started hurting because of the angle but that's because I can't sleep on my back and slide down on my side. It's very comfy and works well for what I need it to do.

Very Comfortable
Great! I was a little concerned when it came so tightly shrink wrapped, but a day or two later and it’s in great shape. It’s actually pretty comfortable, good angle. It’s a good width and pretty long to accommodate all body types. I like it can be two heights. My adult kids said it felt like memory foam. I can add my own pillow too to further adjust to my liking. I occasionally get bad heartburn or sick where I need to sleep sitting up. This helps me do that in bed. I tried using it every night at first because I usually sleep with two large stacked pillows, but I’m a side sleeper and it eventually hurt my neck. So, not great if you sleep on your side. I also just lay a pillow case across it to keep clean. You can unzip and take off the cover for cleaning, but I almost never get stuff like that back on right. I got the dark gray cover and I like the soft feel. I’m glad I got it.
