The heat treated center balls are cross-drilled for thru-bolt lubrication and the joint internals are retained with 2 heavy duty, heat treated side washers and a snap ring. The outer shell is weldable .180 in. wall machined DOM tubing, fitted with a zerk fitting for greasing. This Solenoid is an adequate OEM replacement, at an incredible, low price.

This solenoid replaced a bad 350 Chev. Mercruiser starter Solenoid. It works perfectly with only a minor, simple modification of the mounting bracket . (Hole centers were slightly off needing only 1 new hole drilled on the engine bracket only. A very easy mod.) The Solenoid body itself is an exact match for the OEM and works flawlessly at a price that is literally 10 times less than what the Manufacturer charges.
