Discover 'Challenging Nuclearism', a groundbreaking analysis that delves into how nuclear weapon states have successfully normalized the idea of nuclear arms—an ideology often referred to as 'nuclearism'. This insightful book, published by Manchester University Press, scrutinizes the intricate practices that have allowed a select number of nations to maintain extensive arsenals of nuclear weapons. With the ISBN 9781526165091, this fresh 2022 publication explores why the acceptance of nuclear weapons has persisted in global politics for over 70 years and why we're now seeing a critical reassessment of this normalization. The author unpacks the deliberate processes that underpin this dangerous trend and argues for a much-needed shift in perspective regarding nuclear arms. Special focus is given to the recent UN Treaty on the Prohibition of Nuclear Weapons, which challenges the longstanding notion of nuclearism, despite resistance from established nuclear states. This vital examination highlights the often-ignored humanitarian implications of nuclear arsenals and advocates for a stricter assessment of nuclear policies.
Perfect for scholars, policymakers, and anyone seriously interested in nuclear disarmament, 'Challenging Nuclearism' is a necessary read that encourages us to rethink the status quo of nuclear politics. Explore the historical context, ethical dilemmas, and the potential pathways towards a nuclear-free world. Whether you're studying international relations, peace studies, or global security, this book provides essential insights into the future of nuclear disarmament and the urgent need to challenge the prevailing paradigms.

Poignant
Format: Hardcover
This is definitely a slow burn. A poignant look at the idea of loneliness, though I often think about how the technology presented in near future worlds make people feel less tangibly human.

Great product
Nice scent for a guy's! It doesn't dry out my skin, it suds well, and it leaves my skin clean and smooth.

Rich, masculine, woody experience that differs from most body washes
This soap is almost meditative. Rich Woody, smoky, deep experience. Masculine. Not overly fresh, but extremely pleasant. This lathers and cleans better than most soaps. I’ve tried. I use a lot of Cremo brand products. Their soaps sud well and feel great. This one really caught me by surprise on how much I enjoyed it. If you’re tired of the normal synthetic body wash smells, give this a try.
