Sowing Instructions:

  • Sow seeds directly into warm soil (above 20°C) after the last frost.

  • Plant seeds ½–1 inch deep, spacing them 12–15 inches apart in rows.

  • Soak seeds for 12–24 hours to speed up germination.

Sunlight & Soil Requirements:

  • Prefers full sun (6–8 hours daily).

  • Grows best in well-drained, loamy soil rich in organic matter (pH 6.0–6.8).

Watering & Maintenance:

  • Water regularly to keep soil evenly moist but not soggy.

  • Use a trellis or support for vine growth.

  • Apply organic compost every 15–20 days for better yield.

Harvesting Tips:

  • Ready for harvest 55–70 days after sowing.

  • Pick fruits when young and tender (before seeds harden).

  • Frequent harvesting encourages continuous fruiting.
