The RG421PB is one of those guitars that just makes sense the second you pick it up. Fast, lightweight and built for modern playing, this one delivers everything the RG line is known for without overcomplicating it.
Finished in Caribbean Shoreline Flat with a poplar burl top, it’s got a really striking look in person. The satin-style finish keeps it understated while still showing off the figuring nicely.
It’s loaded with Ibanez’s Wizard III neck which is thin, flat and seriously quick under the fingers. Perfect for fast runs, tight rhythm work or anything technical. The 24 jumbo frets and deep cutaways give you easy access right across the board.
The Quantum humbuckers do exactly what you want them to. Plenty of output, tight low end and clear top end, great for heavier styles but still versatile enough to cover a lot of ground thanks to the 5-way switching.
Condition wise, it plays great and has clearly been enjoyed. There are a number of cosmetic marks and dings around the body and edges as shown in the photos, but nothing structural at all. It’s purely visual and doesn’t affect how it performs.
