Tres Records is proud to announce the release of Lightheaded’s new album, Wrong Way.  The Portland, OR based trio of MCs Braille, Othello, and Producer/MC Ohmega Watts released their debut (along with producer Muneshine), Pure Thoughts, in 2001 and received praises from fans and critics alike.  With critically acclaimed releases by each of the members since Pure Thoughts, the trio of Lightheaded is now ready to take us the Wrong Way.

Actually, Wrong Way is more about taking us every way but the wrong way.  With thoughtful lyrics, up-tempo b-boy jams, and sprinkles of social commentary, Wrong Way is Hip-Hop that harkens back to better times without sounding dated.

Ohmega Watts handles most of the production on Wrong Way (two songs produced by Stro the 89th Key from the Procussions, two from Tony S and one from old collaborator Muneshine) and creates the perfect future funk canvases for the three MCs to paint over.  Watts serves up a variety of tempos and feelings, and the MCs are able to find the right topic and mood to fit each rhythm. From the breakdance boogies of “In the Building”, “Soul Power”, and “Uhh” to the soulful bounces of “Timeless”, “Individually Wrapped” and “Short Stories”, Watts keeps the beats grooving while the MCs never loose a beat.  All three are apt storytellers (as displayed on the Stro produced “Eye to Eye”) and able to talk honestly about their lives and beliefs (“Unconditional”).

Featuring live musicians and scratching from DJs Bombay, DNA, Manwell, and the legendary Rob Swift, Wrong Way is a 15 track ride that takes the listener to many different destinations without ever getting lost or losing direction.

This duvet cover is just lovely and super soft! Feels and looks like a luxury hotel and you cant beat the price for the quality! I was searching for a minimalist boho aesthetic so this is Just what i was looking for! I wish it came in a true white but the off white is close enough and i love that it’s organic cotton! It has ties not only in each corner but also in the top and bottom center so it stays extra secure and in place! Love love that it’s a hidden zipper instead of tedious buttons. I would definitely recommend 10/10. Incredibly easy to wash and dry. I also purchased the non organic version of this from the same brand so i could compare and it just wasn’t as soft so i went with this one!

So I’ll start by saying that I’ve bought many Bedsure products in the past. This one does not disappoint, but I also don’t feel like it’s 5 stars. It washed well and feels nice. Overall it’s a great duvet cover, but there’s three things I don’t personally like: 1. The price. Compared to their other covers, this one seems steep (though it’s probably the material that makes it more expensive?). 2. The material is somewhat shiny. I wasn't expecting that, and I don’t dig it. I’ve never had a cover that shines like this one does. 3. Pet hair retention is especially noticeable on this darker duvet (see photo). I’m sure this is either the fabric or the weave that causes this. For these three things, I’m giving it 4 stars instead of 5. That said, if you can snag this during a sale (and you don’t have pets or don’t mind hair clinging to the cover), go for it!

Yes, it’s organic cotton! After buying two other “100 % organic cotton” duvet covers on Amazon that turned out to be polyester/blends, I was happy to find an honest company and product. The duvet cover washes well, had no detectable odor out of the package, and is a good weight. I love the hidden zipper closure and find that it gets softer with use. I hope the zipper stays intact with prolonged use and gentle wash cycle. Note that I almost bought this in white but realized it’s a different material (bamboo) based on the product description. If you are looking at different colors, check the material carefully before buying.
