The acidity is important
Coffee with optimal, low acidity is stomach-friendly. So not so much the very lowest acidity but rather the precise acidity is what we aim for with this coffee.
According to the pH scale ( a scale of 1 to 14), sun-grown, coffee has an average acidity of about 4.8-5.1. The lower that number, the higher the acidity.
If we can bump that up a bit, we're all set for stomach-friendly coffee.
After all, acidity is not necessarily bad. Most people can drink coffee just fine without ever experiencing any problems. Acidity also makes for complex and beautiful coffee flavors.
The variety, origin, shade and master roaster will help you out
Robusta coffee is naturally more acidic than Arabica. 100% Arabica coffee is therefore the better starting point. Our coffee variety is naturally a coffee with lower acidity. It is grown in BraziIia, at lower altitudes. In that place, the beans are grown in a shady environment. That perfect origin and conditions in itself make for a stomach-friendly coffee.
The hand of our Belgian master coffee roaster ensures a beautiful and healthy result and a consistent product.

With our Dolce Gusto adapter for ground coffee, or with the Dolce Gusto reusable capsule you can start using that device for ground coffee extremely easily as well.
This ground coffee is also suitable for paper filters.
