Le Forban est un couteau à lame forte, forgée et tronquée dans l’esprit des couteaux de gabier d’une autre époque, dont la lame était épointée avant d’embarquer sur les navires pour éviter les dégâts en cas de mutineries.

Le manche en bois tourné accueille un matelotage ultra-robuste de type bonnet Turc réalisé en ligne de pêche au thon.

Couteau tout terrain, aussi à l’aise en mer que sur une planche à découper.

Le « Forban » est fourni avec son étui en cuir épais (tannage végétal) avec un passant pour la ceinture.
