The Spypoint Flex-S-Dark is a highly capable cellular trail camera that’s built for long-term use in even the most demanding environments. It combines fast, reliable 4G image and video transmission with a built-in solar panel and internal lithium battery, helping to drastically reduce maintenance and keep your camera running for extended periods.

A key feature of the Flex-S-Dark model is its adaptable infrared system, allowing you to switch between low-glow or no-glow LEDs depending on your needs. Low-glow is ideal for wildlife, offering brighter night images and longer range, while no-glow is completely invisible, making it better suited to security or sensitive monitoring.

Image and video quality are excellent, with 40MP stills and 1080p HD video including sound. The trigger speed is fast at just 0.3 seconds, and the camera can capture up to three images per trigger. You’ll get full colour captures during the day and crisp infrared footage at night, all uploaded directly to your smartphone or tablet via the Spypoint app.

The Flex-S-Dark is fully app-controlled and features dual-SIM connectivity. The camera automatically connects to the strongest available 4G LTE network and can switch networks if signal strength drops. This ensures consistent performance even in more remote locations.

Several smart features make the camera particularly easy to set up and manage. A Format button allows you to quickly prepare the microSD card, while a Test function lets you instantly send a photo to check positioning. The camera also supports firmware updates wirelessly through the app, so you don’t need to bring it back in from the field.

The Flex-S-Dark also supports video transmission on request via Instant Mode. This lets you prompt the camera to capture a photo or video on demand through the Spypoint app, as well as update settings instantly. While using Instant Mode increases power consumption, it’s a useful option when real-time access is needed.

The Flex-S-Dark comes with a preactivated SIM and Spypoint’s data plans start with a free monthly allowance of 100 photos, with options to upgrade depending on your usage. Full-resolution images and videos are stored on the microSD card.
